The West Quoddy Head Light Keepers Association (WQHLKA) was created to fulfill
the following Mission:
· To enhance the experience and knowledge of community members
and visitors to the West Quoddy Head Lighthouse and Visitor
Center, through educational exhibits linking the lighthouse,
community of Lubec, and the maritime world
· To provide space for educational programs and relevant community
activities for the Lubec area
· To engage in other activities permitted by law
The Association is a Tax Exempt 501(c)(3) organization and the
Visitor Center is staffed by trained, local volunteers.
