We are saddened to learn that our dear friend, Dean Hutchins has passed away. Dean passed away on Monday, July 8th, 2019, at his home in Camden, Maine. Dean was a dedicated founding member of the West Quoddy Head Light Keepers Association and was there at the very beginning of the restoration of the light keeper’s house and creating the visitor center and history museum at West Quoddy Lighthouse.
Thank you, Dean.
We will miss your phone calls.
Cheers to Dean -
We raise our glass to you!
Let the lower lights be burning
From his lighthouse evermore.
Love, from all of your friends at the easternmost lighthouse.
